The Mosquito Powered Hang Glider Harness

The Mosquito NRG Powered Hang Glider Harness is made in Sweden by Swedish Aerosport and is a tribute to Swedish engineering and quality.

Adventure Airsports import the Mosquito NRG which have become a popular choice in Australia for Aussie Hang Glider pilots who want to get more air time with a reliable unit that will take them further and higher.

The Mosquito NRG has some impressive features with a totally new design including a flat back, front opening harness for easy transfer in and out of prone. The Mossie has a full carbon back plate for maximum comfort. The angle of dangle rope allows adjustment of angle in flight for the ultimate in comfort and performance with power off and power on. Two big pockets provide ample storage and the front reserve chute pocket is in easy reach. Electric start version is available for those lazy restarts in the air.

The controls are integrated into the harness. Cruise control on the shoulder and mouth throttle retracts into the harness when not in use.

With a folding propeller and a centrifugal clutch which allows the prop to stand still while the engine idles. Two more features that put this unit ahead of the pack.

Simple effective cruise control. Pull down on the top ball (coloured) to gradually increase revs. Pull down on the lower ball to gradually reduce revs.
A specially designed inlet silencer significantly silences the engine noise and improves power output.
Streamlined see through fuel tanks makes it easy to see how much fuel you have on board.
A new 7 liter internal fuel tank that is mounted inside the harness is now available (pictures soon). The fuel tank is equipped with a level meter and a flashing red light to indicate low fuel. The internal fuel tank can be linked to the external fuel tank and almost double the amount of fuel you can carry for those long cross country flying tours. Pictures of the internal tank to follow
The reserve chute pocket is front mounted and within easy reach.
Ergonomically designed mouth throttle - easy to use for smooth take off. Hands are left completely free to control the glider.
